How it works
The trip is built around the group, not around a coach
The route is walked before you
We drive every stop ourselves before it goes into the programme. No middlemen, no off-the-shelf excursions and no “and here you have some free time”.
The group fits around one table
Few enough that everyone is still part of the same conversation, and small enough to reach places a coach never goes.
Where you sleep is part of the route
A house with a history, a lighthouse, a ranch, sometimes a tent with the view the whole thing was for.

Why we do this
We don't make money on this
This is not a business and not a side hustle. We travel ourselves, often as a three, sometimes in pairs, and one day realised that the road is a completely different thing with good people on it. We have been inviting others along ever since.
We go first
Every route we walk as a three or a pair before inviting anyone else. Only what we have seen with our own eyes makes it into the programme.
There is no mark-up in the price
We don't live off these trips and we are not trying to. We take the organising on not because it is a profession, but because the road is already trodden and it costs us little.
We gather our own
Who you travel with matters to us. The group is made of people you would want to share a car with for ten days and not regret it.
Networking happens by itself
We don't run networking sessions. When decent people end up next to each other, projects and agreements appear on their own — usually somewhere between dinner and the drive back.

Our company
We started with trips for friends: a minivan, ten people and a route thrown together on our knees. Not much has changed since — apart from the list of countries and the fact that people we don't know come along now. By the end of the trip they are no longer people we don't know.

Nothing. There is no mark-up of ours in the price — it covers travel, accommodation and the programme. We earn our living elsewhere; we come here for the company.
What is included in the price?
Accommodation, transport along the route, the programme and guiding — everything we arrange on the ground. The exact list differs from trip to trip, so we send it together with the programme before you pay anything.
Are flights included?
No, everyone books their own. It is fairer that way: one person flies from Moscow, another from Yerevan, someone else on air miles. We tell you when you need to be there and suggest good connections.
What about insurance?
Insurance is compulsory and you arrange it yourself. We'll tell you what kind a particular route needs: for trekking and anything at altitude, ordinary travel cover is not enough — you need an extension.
Who deals with visas?
You do. We tell you in advance what a given country requires and provide documents from our side if the visa needs a confirmed route or booking.
I'm coming on my own. Is that all right?
That is how more than half of the group arrives. After a day there are no strangers left in it — which is rather the whole point.
What happens if the group doesn't fill up?
We'll tell you well in advance, not three days before departure, and return everything you have paid. We don't run a trip at any cost: a small group is not a saving, it is a different format.
Can I cancel and get my money back?
You can. By that point some of the costs are already non-refundable — bookings, deposits, entry tickets. How much depends on timing: the earlier you tell us, the smaller the loss. The terms are written into the contract before you pay, with no small print.
Do I need to be fit for it?
For most routes, no. Where you do, we say so right in the description: how many kilometres a day, how much ascent and what kit you will need.
Who leads the group?
One of the three of us — whoever has walked that route. We bring in local guides where there is no way around it: language, access, safety.
